What you need

Steps
- 1Open Settings, then Connectors.
- 2Choose Add custom connector and name it JobAdder.
- 3Paste https://mcp.recruitapi.com/jobadder as the server URL.
- 4Click Connect and sign in with your JobAdder login.
- 5Turn the connector on in a chat and ask your first question.

Add the connector from your terminal, then run /mcp inside Claude Code to sign in with JobAdder.

Keep a Project per desk
Put your agency’s tone, fee terms and shortlist template in a Claude Project, so every chat that uses JobAdder starts with them.
Pair it with documents
Drop in a job brief or a CV, and Claude can compare it against what’s already in JobAdder.
Approve every write
Claude asks before it calls a tool that changes JobAdder. Read the summary, then allow it once or deny it.

Which Claude plans support the JobAdder MCP?
Any plan that can add a custom connector: Pro, Max, Team and Enterprise. On Team and Enterprise, an owner adds the connector once in the organisation settings, then each consultant connects their own JobAdder login.
Does it work in Claude Desktop and Claude Code?
Yes. Connectors added on Claude.ai also show up in the desktop app. In Claude Code, run claude mcp add --transport http jobadder https://mcp.recruitapi.com/jobadder, then /mcp to sign in.
Can my whole team share one connection?
No, and that’s on purpose. Each consultant signs in with their own JobAdder login, so Claude sees only what they can see and every change is recorded against them. Pricing is $30 per user connection per month.
Does Claude train on our JobAdder data?
Anthropic’s commercial terms (Team, Enterprise and the API) say it doesn’t train on your data by default. On Pro and Max, check your privacy settings. RecruitAPI never uses your JobAdder data to train models.
Claude says the connector isn’t available. What now?
Make sure the connector is switched on for the chat (from the tools menu under the message box) and that you’ve clicked Connect and signed in with JobAdder. On Team and Enterprise, check that an owner has added it for the organisation.
